Privacy policy

This policy applies when you use kbeauty-ai.com in English or Japanese. Korean checkout is covered by our Korean privacy policy (PortOne, domestic law).
1. Data controller
K Beauty-AI (operator contact: support@kbeauty-ai.com) is the controller for product use, quiz flow, PDF fulfillment, and support.
For international card payments, Creem (Creem IO B.V.) is the Merchant of Record and processes payment data, billing address, and tax information as an independent controller for checkout. See Creem’s privacy notice: https://creem.io/privacy
2. Data we collect
Free quiz: no sign-up; answers and optional photos usually stay in your browser only.
Paid PDF: name (PDF cover), email, marketing opt-in flag, payment/order identifiers, quiz answers (JSON), optional photos (private cloud storage), and metadata to fulfill delivery.
Paid report quiz answers and input photos are stored temporarily for PDF generation, retries, and error recovery. They are deleted within 7 days (KST) after save.
3. Purposes
Providing the free and paid services.
PDF generation, email delivery, order support, and fraud prevention.
Marketing only if you opt in separately (you may withdraw consent).
Legal compliance and service improvement.
4. Retention
Free quiz data is not stored on servers. You may clear browser storage at any time.
Purchase records (email, order id, send status) are kept only as long as required for operations and law.
After a paid report email is sent, we permanently store a CRM summary for that purchase: 4-letter skin type code, three display keywords, report locale, and product line (default/mens), linked to your email. This is separate from the full quiz JSON and input photos.
Paid report quiz and input photos: deleted within 7 days (KST) after save.
Creem retains payment records according to its policies and legal obligations.
5. Processors & partners
We use the following categories of service providers. Contractual safeguards apply where required.
